Just because I discovered some cool Indonesia movie soundtracks and feel like make it a playlist on Spotify so everyone could listen but sadly some aren't available there. So bad the music label did not release tracks as complete as on the physical. The unavailable ones are too good to be unreleased online. That I am so glad I found and listened to them already.   Suasana pilu akhir tahun dipersembahkan oleh bubarnya duo nelangsa kesayangan, Banda Neira. Kok rasanya baru kemarin ketemu dan dengar mereka di Soundcloud, gambarin mereka, sekarang malah bubar. Dirundung sedih tak terbendung.  Sedih belum sempat ketemu dan nonton konser mereka secara langsung. Sedih karena tak akan lagi mendengar karya-karya yang akan datang. Sedih sebab tak ada lagi yang me-musikalisasi sastra sebaik mereka. Terima kasih Banda Neira, untuk setiap lantunan yang memberi tenang, hangat sekaligus sejuk dalam kalut pun riang, saat rintik pun terik, kala fajar pun senja. Karya kalian abadi dan mewangi. Salam, Pendengar jarak jauh. 💛 Rasa-rasanya udah tersirat dalam percakapan mereka dalam video di menit 10:11. :'')  

It's been a very long time since the last post and now I am so excited to write about my new favorites! There are Rendy Pandugo, Ardhito Pramono and Kunto Aji. I think that some of you already heard about them before and I'm sure that they are very potential in today's industry. Rendy Pandugo He started it all from Soundcloud by covering songs consistently and had his loyal listeners until now. He also had some jamming session from cafe to cafe since he's good at playing guitar too. His voice sounds so close to John Mayer but still he had that character. He already released two singles, the first one was a cover of Sheila On 7 titled 'Sebuah Kisah Klasik' and the second one was his most anticipated debut titled 'I Don't Care' and it's a very must listen. Rasanya sudah lama tidak posting musik lokal karena satu pendengar setia postingan ini sudah tiada tapi tak apa semoga masih ada pendengar lain yang ingin menikmati. Senang sekali sudah banyak musik bagus menjamur saat ini dan saya tidak sabar membuat daftar putar untuk khalayak blogger. Mari disimak sederet lagu enak berikut. :)

Continued from the last post Musik Lokal , I am glad to let you all know another indie and major music which mostly new favorites of mine. Here I have Angsa & Serigala, Banda Neira, Adhitia Sofyan, The Trees & The Wild, Payung Teduh, Maliq & d'Essentials, Endah & Rhesa, Ayushita, Dini Budiayu, Monita Tahalea, Matthew Sayersz, Abdul & The Coffee Theory and Legna. You may never notice some of them, but just give your ears a listen. You don't know that you will love them the way I do. So proud to say that they are Indonesian. Hope you enjoy these adorable sounds!

Beberapa waktu lalu tanpa sengaja terbaca twit seseorang mengenai lagu jaman sekarang yang udah gak karuan, barat maupun Indonesia. Nino Kayam pun bilang lagu sekarang banyak yang ngeluh. Duh, kemana ya lagu-lagu yang punya mutu dan kualitas itu? Bukan hanya enak didengar namun kalo bisa bermakna.  Sebagai penikmat musik, kita harus selektif memilih lagu, sebab banyak juga lagu yang menjerumuskan walaupun enak di telinga. Beginilah jadinya kalo sebagian besar industri lebih tunduk pada selera mayoritas. Entahlah, sounds good is not forever good I think. That makes me miss the 90's music so bad when both music and lyric are worth to enjoy. Terakhir dengar lagu-lagu barat yang asik tuh tahun 2011. Sekarang? Bisa dihitung pake jari. Segitu minimnya kah? Berdasarkan kuping saya, merasa lebih menikmati karya lokal band/penyanyi indie sih. Lagu-lagunya beda dan BAGUS semua!
